This is the third time I and my class have trip in Ho Chi Minh. At 8.00 AM, Mrs.Linh gave us the plan to The Independence Palace. Then, we began our trip. This trip did't like the first and the second trip last year, because all student of my class didn't learn at my class anymore, so just me and my brother(new student) joined this trip with Mrs.Linh. On the way to Independence Palace, we talked about how to talk with the foreigners, I haven't talked to the foreigner for a long time so I had a little nervous.

When we arrived, how beautiful it was! That was the biggest place I have ever visited, and there are the overview of it:

The Independence Palace has a water fountain in the middle of the round yard, it has many trees around it. Next, inside the first floor of the palace, there are some information about the conference of Duong Van Minh's government, Ho Chi Minh operation and instruction of the building. To the next stair we saw many room such as conference room, cinema room, or entertainment room. There are also have many pictures and decorations in the hallway.
Next, I went to the bunker right below the Independence Palace. It's quite deep, maybe 10 meters away from the ground. When I arrived, I thought it was a little bunker with electronic devices but I was wrong. It looks like a room with fully facilities include resting room for the president. I visited the bunker room for 15 minutes and went outside.
After a break, I and my brother decided to take a look around the yard and we saw some tanks like:

and an aircraft like this:

by the way, we saw some helicopter on top of the roof:

During the trip, I have seen many foreigners and talked with them:

And one of them is Alan, I met him when I was looking at some picture on the wall. He is Australian and very humour, but he was old so he has some ageing disease, and here is my short conversation with him:

Me: Excuse me, sir! What happened with your legs?
Mr. Alan: It's ok! I'm fine, thank you!
Me: Are you sure? Your legs look hurt!
Mr. Alan: No,no!It's fine. It's just degenerative joint disease, you don't need to worry about it
Me: Ok!
Although he said he was fine but when he walking limply, I thought his legs were very hurt, so I always helped him when we walked on the stair and I thought he was grateful about it. Another thing was my brother, although he could speak English fluently, he couldn't speak with foreigners for some reason. When i asked him, he said: I haven't spoken to the foreigners for a long time, so I'm not sure if I can speak to the foreigner or not." I encouraged him and he seem better. Than, he began spoke with the foreigners and have a good result.
 Until 12.PM, we backed home.
